Terms and Conditions for Clients

EmeraldStages reserve the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions, without notice, at any time to reflect standard practice and operations, applicable regulations and guidelines, business practices, and legal compliance in the Republic of Ireland.


All quotes valid for 7 days, including any obtained by telephone. As such please request an e-mailed or written quotation. We prefer to submit quotes by email, but feel free to call 086 4028614 for a quote. Please visit the Contact Page for details.

The price in the final quote may vary from the original request if there is any price or product changes requested by customers.

Any discounts given on the quote are usually worked out based on the hire rate, duration and quantity. Some factors such as delivery costs (e.g. fuel) may not be applicable. If there's any significant changes to the overall quote amount, the discount may also be changed to reflect it.

We reserve the right to quote any product and service for other potential customers and while we endeavour to fulfill any potential work quotations, all hire commitments will be on a first confirmed first served basis. Therefore please ensure you have a written or emailed confirmation of provision of services and hire.

Where a site supervisor has not bee appointed or we have not been informed of the person holding responsibility, Customers assume the role of site supervisor and therefore may be requested to sign off on a 'Safe System of Work Plan' or other documentation regarding safe practice and standard operations, where potential safety risks beyond our control may be brought to the attention of the customer for remedy / resolution.

Mobile Stage

For all quotes Setup & Collection times on dates specified must be confirmed by email.

External contractors for PA & Lighting etc must have valid adequate insurance and may be requested on event date prior to any work being commenced.

Quote for further days subject to additional discount, please enquire about this.

Quote represents one set-up and collection, and that while setup adequate security will be provided during hire period. There will be a further (small) cost if the stage has to be dismantled, taken away and reset every day.

We reserve the right to refuse setup / use if the area / ground is unsuitable / unsafe for use. As such we always try to do a site inspection prior to the day of setup. The stage area / ground will be inspected each day the stage is in use, and may have deteriorated to an unsuitable condition.

We reserve the right to close and evaquate the stage where adverse weather or other elements beyond our control will raise a severe health & safety issue. We will always liase with site management / event organisers on such matters. Safety is a number one priority.

Indoor Stage

Most indoor stage constructions require a minimum of 2 crew.

Sound & Lights

Any supply of sound and/or lights is based upon customer given requirements at the time of enquiry and is expected to be used as such. Any requests for equipment usage we deem inappropriate and/or that was/is not initially specified may be declined

The customer assumes the responsibility for provision of safe supply of adequate electrical power for any sound ∧ lighting systems on hire. Please contact us if you're unsure about this matter.


All payments must be made with 30 days of the date of the job invoice being issued.

Under the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2002,we reserve the right to apply an interest rate of 7% above the European Central Bank rate to late payments. Under these regulations we also reserve the right to charge compensation inline with the regulations which is based on the total amount owed.

The customer will be requested to submit adequate invoice details, prior to job commencement.

If an invoice is disputed please raise this matter in writing and email with us with in 7 days of invoice issue date. We will endeavour to resolve any dispute on amicable terms. EmeraldStages will respond immediately to all matters.

We accept the following payment methods: direct debit, cheque, cash, credit or electronic funds transfer.

Force Majeure

We reserve the right to, without liability, cancel or delay deliveries/services or reduce the services/quantities delivered where operations may be affected by any event catagorised as force majeure.
